St. Timothy Camp 2016 Dates are Set
Oswegatchie Educational Center is located in the western forest of the Adirondack Park. The camp spreads across a large piece of land between four beautiful ponds. It is an ideal setting for a week filled with memories. There will be exciting and rewarding experiences in spiritual and leadership development, environmental appreciation and outdoor recreation.
The staff at Oswegatchie Education Center works hand-in-hand with the St. Timothy Camp staff to provide a fun, safe environment for all campers.
St. Timothy Camp is centered around the Orthodox Christian faith. Each day we will have a short Orthros to start our day and a short Vespers to complete our day. We also celebrate the Divine Liturgy together on Sunday and on the feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos (August 15).
The camp has daily Orthodox Life sessions led by the Upstate NY clergy and youth staff.
St. Timothy’s camp and Oswegatchie offers a wide range of activities. Some activities are low key like kayaking, archery, hiking, and arts & crafts. There are also more extreme activities like water tubing, knee boarding, the high ropes course, and mountain biking.
Each campsite has a fire pit, and there are campfires most nights. Once a week, all of the campers are mixed up and pitted against each other in the Olympic Games!
One Week of Camp: $395
